The Socioeconomic Programs Office is responsible for all aspects of Y-12's small business initiatives. Duties of this office include administering the small business programs and promoting socioeconomic endeavors, such as those associated with women-owned small business subcontracting.
The Socioeconomic Programs Office was established to provide maximum practicable assistance to small businesses to obtain subcontracts from Y-12. Gloria Mencer, program manager, is directly responsible for the office.
