The 3rd Annual East Tennessee Veterans' Business Conference was held August 4, 2009, at Y-12's New Hope Center in Oak Ridge. After opening remarks by Gerald Boyd, manager of DOE Oak Ridge Operations, and Kevin Smith, deputy manager of the NNSA Y-12 Site Office, the conference welcomed two keynote speakers — Commissioner John Keys, State of Tennessee Department of Veteran Affairs, and Janis E. Kaiser, deputy for small business from the Midwest Naval Facilities Engineering Command. View conference presentations.
