The Y‑12 National Security Complex, operated by B&W Technical Services Y‑12, LLC, is a premier manufacturing facility essential to our nation’s nuclear security. The expertise and dedication of our work force make our country and the world a safer place to live. Likewise, we are committed to making a difference locally — assisting the many agencies and organizations working to make East Tennessee one of the best places to live in America.

In 2010, B&W Y‑12 invested $727,000 in East Tennessee nonprofit organizations, bringing the grand total over the last ten years to $5.8 million. Just as important as Y‑12’s financial support, our employees have given thousands of hours of community service.

Throughout the year, hundreds of employees give their time and expertise serving in local government; as mentors, tutors, coaches and scoutmasters for youth; and as coordinators for numerous community projects. Members of B&W Y‑12’s senior management team serve on more than 20 community boards and hold numerous positions with industry organizations.
