Local businesses, advocates honored
BWXT Y-12 honors local businesses, advocates at luncheon

BWXT Y-12 honored four small businesses and two small business advocates for their outstanding performance as part of Y-12's socioeconomic and diversity procurement program during a luncheon held Monday.
Businesses honored were Moskowitz & Company, Inc., Dynamic Computer Corporation, Omega Consultants, Inc. and Apollo Corporation.
Moskowitz & Company, Inc. was named the Small Business of the Year; Dynamic Computer Corporation was named the Small Disadvantaged Business of the Year. Omega Consultants, Inc. was selected as the Woman-Owned, Small Business of the Year.
Apollo Corporation was honored as the HUBZone Small Business of the Year. A HUBZone business is one located within a Historically Underutilized Business Zone.
BWXT Y-12 Small Business Advocates recognized at the program were Alan Moore and Penny Wiseman.
BWXT Y-12, a limited liability enterprise of BWX Technologies Inc. and Bechtel National Inc., operates the Y-12 National Security Complex for the National Nuclear Security Administration.
