OAK RIDGE, Tenn.—Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC employee Gene Patterson was recently honored by the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce with the R. C. Hoskins Award.

The R. C. “Dudley” Hoskins Awards are given annually to an outstanding male and female for their contribution to the community through the Chamber and other organizations. This award is named for Mr. Hoskins, founder of Hoskins Drug Stores, and the Clinton Businessman’s association that became the Clinton Chamber in 1932. It was renamed the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce in 1984.

Patterson was recognized for his involvement in the Anderson County business community on behalf of CNS, including moderating community forums, recruiting volunteers and supporting the Dream it. Do it. competition for middle school students.
