The best time to plan for your future is today. As a summer intern at Y-12 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, you’ll work with some of the industry’s most talented, dedicated professionals and contribute to our national security mission. This program empowers you to gain real work experience in your field of study, attend technical lectures and professional-development workshops, and take part in social events.

To increase the effectiveness of your internship, you will be assigned a mentor to help you become acclimated to our professional culture and enhance your learning experience, and you will gain valuable exposure to our senior leadership team.

Requirements

Consider joining our team and helping us deliver nuclear security to our nation. Internship opportunities will be posted here in October for a program that begins the following summer. To be eligible for a Y-12 internship, you must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum G.P.A. of 3.0/4.0 scale
• College/university junior, senior, or graduate class status in appropriate field of study
