Y-12 to conduct emergency exercise Wednesday, June 4
OAK RIDGE, Tenn — Emergency response personnel from the National Nuclear Security Administration and the Y‑12 National Security Complex’s managing and operating contractor, Consolidated Nuclear Security, along with other federal, state and local emergency management personnel, will conduct an emergency exercise on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in and around the Y‑12 plant.
During this exercise, people in the vicinity of Y‑12 may observe personnel simulating response activities and performing monitoring or sampling, but these off‑site activities will be part of the exercise.
