All Y‑12 personnel (employees and non‑employees) who have been granted a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (“L” or “Q”) must receive an annual refresher briefing to reinforce the information provided in the comprehensive security briefing.
The refresher briefing must be conducted at a frequency not to exceed 12‑months. Failure to complete the annual refresher briefing by personnel who have been granted a security clearance will result in administrative actions determined by Personnel Security Management. This could include restriction from the site and possible termination of your security clearance.
Please read the Annual Security Refresher Briefing content. To ensure proper credit for completing the course material is given, complete the UCN-22039, Training Attendee Report, and present it to your STR and Division Training Officer and email a copy to Hannah.Aikens@y12nsc.doe.gov.
