The Uranium Processing Facility continues to progress as the project works towards it’s 2025 completion date.
The Process Support Building begins to take shape with the installation of the structural steel.

Bright yellow temporary steel was installed on the outside of the Salvage and Accountability Building this month, which will allow large pieces of equipment to enter the facility after siding is installed.
Crews pave concrete on the Main Process Building’s (MPB) third elevation floor slabs. All MPB floor slabs were installed and completed in December 2020.
A UPF electrician inspects the wet receiver tank in the Mechanical Electrical Building, which will play a major role in providing safe air to the entire facility.
The Main Process Building continues to rise to greater heights as crews install the third elevation walls on the east end of the building.
Installation of structural steel began at the Process Support Facilities in October 2020 and is forecast to complete in March 2021.
