That’s why this year, NNSA celebrated the 51st anniversary of Earth Day by honoring sustainability accomplishments from our sites across the country and highlighting achievements right here at “home.”

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) will host a virtual job fair for the Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) Wednesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (EDT). The NSE will hire over 3,000 new employees to join its robust and diverse workforce in 2021 to continue building the next generation of nuclear security professionals.

WASHINGTON – The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) will be hosting a virtual hiring event Wednesday, March 31, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, although candidates will have the opportunity to register and submit resumes up until the day of the event.

Women make up more than half the U.S. population, yet are significantly outnumbered by men in STEM-related fields in college, and constitute only a third of the STEM workforce, with some industries showing much less representation than others. While STEM opportunities continue to grow and gain popularity, the number of women in fields such as computer science, engineering, and math have yet to see an upward shift.
