Oak Ridge Metrology Center

Part of the National Nuclear Security Administration's Y‑12 National Security Complex, the Oak Ridge Metrology Center serves as a unique resource to the National Institute of Standards and Technology and provides calibration services traceable to NIST standards in 29 measurement disciplines.

Traceability is the ability to relate individual measurement results to national, international or nationally accepted measurement systems through an unbroken chain of comparison.
