Public Use of New Hope Center

New Hope Center, located at 602 Scarboro Road, is Y‑12's public interface facility. Areas of NHC designated for public use — when not needed for the conduct of National Nuclear Security Administration official business — may be available to some not-for-profit organizations. Y‑12 may close NHC to public use at any time.

Those who may be approved to use NHC public areas are 501(c)(3) organizations recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.

Of course, federal agencies or contractors performing work for federal agencies may use NHC for official government business.

NHC will not be used for political purposes or for any purpose that discriminates on the basis of age, race, color, religion, sex, physical or mental handicap, or national origin.
