UPF’s Construction Support Building Receives NNSA Sustainability Designation
UPF’s Construction Support Building (CSB) has received another designation for sustainability, this time from NNSA, which designated the CSB as a High Performance Sustainable Building (HPSB).
UPF starts installing second-story steel
Steel installation for the second level of the Uranium Processing Facility’s (UPF) Mechanical Electrical Building (MEB) began in late December.

Cones protect the electrical grounding system of the Salvage and Accountability Building (SAB) until concrete is placed for the foundation. SAB will contain waste preparation, decontamination, non-destructive assay and chemical recovery support systems.
